19th Annual Mini Honors and 22nd Regional Convention,
Baltimore, Maryland February 19-22, 2009
Information and registration forms for the 19th Mini Honors and 22nd Regional Convention to be held in Baltimore, Maryland and hosted by the Beta Alpha Tau Chapter-Community College of Baltimore County, Dundalk Campus are now posted below. Save on registration fees by registering early and by January 29, 2009. No refunds will be given after February 6, 2009.

Does your chapter have items to sell? If so and you would like to sell your items at this year's Regional Convention Market Place, download the Market Place information and registration form here
Educational Forums
The Middle States Region Convention Team is looking for Educational Forum Presenters for the Regional Convention. Forums should address the Honors Study Topic, Leadership Skills, Chapter Development or Personal Enrichment. Three rounds of forums will be scheduled. Presenters will have approximately 40 minutes to cover their topic. Successful Chapters will receive a $150.00 honorarium. Forum applications are available here, and must be submitted no later than January 29, 2009..
Send your pictures!
All Chapters are encouraged to gather their pictures of events from this past year. We want to incorporate them into the picture show during regional convention. You can burn them to a cd and send them with your Chapter's Regional Hallmark Award entries or if you have pictures posted on the internet or web sites, email the url address to Chris Taitt, MSR Alumni President at Landshark73@comcast.net or webmaster@ptkms.org All pictures must be received by February 6th.
Check your Chapter's 5-Star Status
Final Updates are now due!
Be sure to check your chapter's progress in the 5-Star Chapter Development Program. All update forms are due to Phi Theta Kappa Headquarters by February 6, 2009. 5-Star Status is updated every Saturday so be sure to check it regularly.
