Proud Host of the 90th Phi Theta Kappa International Convention
Alumni Call to Action
August 23, 2007
Dear Middle States Region Alum,
Greetings and warm hugs from the Executive Board of the Phi Theta Kappa Middle States Region Alumni Association! Did you know it has been 20 years since the International Convention has been in our region? We are gearing up for a fabulous experience as only the Middle States Region can provide for all convention attendees!
We are writing you to let you know, if you don’t already, that the 90th International Convention of Phi Theta Kappa will be held in Philadelphia and hosted by the Middle States Region April 3rd-5th, 2008. As you can imagine the advisors, members and alumni of the Middle States Region are very excited to be the convention host. Providing support to the Middle States Region is the primary goal of the MSR Alumni Association. Our alumni members are now being called into action by International Headquarters to provide support in numerous ways to help make the 90th International Convention a huge success. Many opportunities are available for you to become active in this year’s planning and participation of the international convention. Please consider coming out and offering your time to support the ideas and goals we have been asked to meet. We need you!
We know that you have many fond memories of when you were an active member attending an International Convention and we ask you now to become an active part of making wonderful memories for the next generation of Phi Theta Kappans. Only with your help will the Middle States Region shine!
A planning meeting will be held at Delaware County Community College in the very near future, but what we need right now is to gather a committed group of Alumni ready to serve. If you would like to join us, please sign up by signing up now!
Sincerely,
Godwin Lue
2007-2008 President
Middle States Region Alumni Association
