Building a Culture of College Completion

It all starts here!

Join the New Jersey Council of County Colleges and Phi Theta Kappa Middle States Region in programming New Jersey’s second annual statewide Community College Completion Challenge Kick-off Week scheduled for Monday, October 27 through Friday, October 31, 2014.

Programming a series of events and activities on your campus, your Phi Theta Kappa chapter would make this program its own while similar events and activities are occurring simultaneously at other community colleges across the state.

Below is the chart designed to get your creative juices flowing for what a Community College Completion Challenge Kick-off week might look like at your school. Similar to last year, your chapter is encouraged to engage other student organizations in the project. While it would be great to program five days worth of events, we recognize that this might be challenging. We recommend that your chapter design a series of programs that best fit your organizational resources and campus needs.

To indicate your chapter's interest in participating in the second annual NJC4 kick-off, download and complete the Commitment Form and return to Lou Venturelli, Coordinator for the Center for Student Success at the New Jersey Council of County Colleges, by August 8, 2014.
